It offers excellent adhesive and cohesive properties. LubeSeal 757 Lift Boat Gear Lube has a very tacky texture yet remains very smooth and buttery. Manufactured with graphite and molybdenum disulfide (moly), LubeSeal 757 Lift Boat Gear Lube forms a protective lubricant coating under heavy loads which prevents metal-to-metal contact. This lubricant has excellent load carrying capability and is very resistant to water washout. A NLGI grade 3 grease, LubeSeal 757 Lift Boat Gear Lube services temperatures from -8 (-22°C) up to 275°F (135°C) and is non-corrosive to copper and steel.
APPLICATION:
Originally designed to be used on the legs of a jack-up or spud barge, the highly adhesive properties of LubeSeal 757 Lift Boat Gear Lube make it an ideal lubricant/dressing for open gears, rock-drill stems, marine ways, underwater equipment, and industrial applications where extreme resistance to water washout is desirable.
BENEFITS:
※ Excellent in extreme-pressure conditions
※ Excellent water resistance
※ Non-corrosive to copper and steel
※ Services temperatures from -8°F (-22°C) up to 275°F (135°C)
※ Versatile
※ Excellent adhesive and cohesive properties
※ Very tacky texture yet remains smooth and buttery
※ Forms a protective lubricant coating
※ Excellent load carrying capability
※ Contains graphite and molybdenum disulfide (moly)
TYPICAL OBSERVATIONS:
Color: Black
Texture: Smooth Paste
Dropping Point, ASTM 2265:280°F (138°C)
Pour Point, ASTM D-97 (Base Oil):-20°F (28°C)
Density, lb/gal @ 77°F (25°C):9.16
Specific Gravity, @ 77°F (25°C):1.097
Flash Point, ASTM D-92:>300°F (>148°C)
Penetration, ASTM D-217 worked @ 77°F (25°C):235–245
Base Oil Viscosity @ 40°C, cSt:80
Water Washout Resistance, ASTM D-1264 @ 100°F (37°C):Nil
Evaporation Loss, ASTM D-972 @ 210°F (98°C):Nil
Oil Separation, ASTM D-1742 @ 77°F (25°C):Nil
4-Ball, EP Weld Load, Kgf, ASTM D-2596 400 Pass 500 Weld
LC50 Test Result: Pass
Temperature Range:-8°F up to 275°F(-22°C up to 135°C)
Shelf Life (unopened container): Four years

LubeSeal 757 Lift Boat Gear Lube is a black, extreme pressure grease with excellent water-resistant properties.
