\nSelf-Mold 686 Self Form Packing can be used as a supplement to worn conventional packing or intervals with conventional packing.Self-Mold 686 Self Form Packing services temperatures to 400\u00b0F (204\u00b0C) and pressures up to 10,000 psi.Self-Mold 686 Self Form Packing is unaffected by most acids, oils, caustics, and common solvents.
\nSelf-Mold 686 Self Form Packing can be applied with shaft surface speeds up to 1000 rpm. Installation is simple. Apply Self-Mold 686 Self Form Packing in whole stick form or break in small pieces if the stuffing box is small. It may be applied to stuffing boxes with or without lantern rings, as well as to stuffing boxes with high fluid pressure or excessive tolerances.
