Protekto-Coat 835 Rust Inhibitor is a concentrate, environmentally friendly rust inhibitor for various types of aqueous systems where protection of ferrous metals is required. This environmentally friendly, concentrated liquid disperses easily when mixed with water to form a stable colloidal mixture.
\nHighly recommended for application in hydrostatic testing to stabilize water systems Protekto-Coat 835 Rust Inhibitor leaves a microscopic, tack-free, transparent film on tubular goods after hydrostatic testing is completed. This residue provides internal rust inhibition to tubular goods after hydrostatic testing is completed.
\nBecause Protekto-Coat 835 Rust Inhibitor is non-toxic, the weldable film does not generate toxic fumes during the welding process. Protekto-Coat 835 Rust Inhibitor will also stabilize and inhibit rusting in portable ferrous tanks used as reservoirs in hydrostatic testing. In addition to the rust inhibitive properties, Protekto-Coat 835 Rust Inhibitor also provides control over bacterial and fungal slime growth. This industrial preservative helps control undesirable odors due to bacterial and slime action commonly associated with recirculating water systems. Protekto-Coat 835 Rust Inhibitor will prevent rusting of pipe ID for 30-90 days when closed end thread protectors are installed.

\nAPPLICATION
\nDilute 1 part Protekto-Coat 835 Rust Inhibitor with up to 10 parts water, or 5 gal (19 L) of Liquid-O-Ring 835 Rust Inhibitor and 50 gal (189 L) of water to make 55 gal (208 L).
\nIn most cases Protekto-Coat 835 Rust Inhibitor does not need to be removed prior to painting or coating. However, it can be removed using water or any typical washing process.
