1 Preparations before drilling
1.1 Rig Installation
1.1.1 Connecting Pipelines
The derrick is in place and connected to the following lines: 2 mud high-pressure hoses, 2 cementing lines, 1 mud filling line, mud return line elbow, in addition to sea water, fresh water line, steam line.
1.1.2 Drill floor preparation
1) Test run, and prepare the wellhead tool connecting the calibration wellhead and the open hole drilling tool:
A. 5 “DP elevator, 5” drill pipe slips, 3 # bushing;
B. 8 “DC elevator, drill collar lifter, 8” drill collar slips, safety slips (11 pieces);
C. 9 “DC elevator, drill collar lifter, 9” drill collar slips, safety slips (12 pieces), 2 # bushing &SDD tongs and corresponding tongs;
D. 26 “drill box and drill shackle; Various matching joints and wire lifters.
2) Connect 1 column 8 “DC and correct the wellhead.
Requirements:
Inner clamp clamp checks rig maintenance and cooling systems. The outer clamp checks the compressed air of the drill floor, the pneumatic winch, the spinner clamp and various drilling tools. The framer is responsible for checking the mast pulley, monkey table, second floor table beam, small pneumatic winch, safety belt, etc.
The assistant driller is responsible for the correct condition of the choke manifold and riser manifold valves on the drill floor, and checks that the mud lines are properly connected.
The assistant driller is responsible for the mud pump in the pump room and the mud line valves are in proper condition.
The mechanic is responsible for fetching oil and water, checking the industrial fresh water and reporting to the foreman.
1.2 Checking Materials
1.2.1 Drilling tools:
1) Lifting drill, centralizer, float valve.
2) Jar, drill collar, drill pipe.
Attention:
The female fasteners face the drill floor.
Do not use drill collars to the side for the time being, do not stack in the middle of the main deck.
How much to lift is determined by the drill pipe field and in-well usage.
1.2.2 Casing
Attention:
the orientation of both ends of the casing shall be determined according to different models;
Sort the catheters according to the order in which they are run, paying special attention to the catheters with mud rings and guide shoes;
The casing with guide shoe is the first pipe into the well. Check that there is no debris in the pipe.
The sailor is responsible for cleaning the male and female casing fasteners, checking the seals and pulling screws, and inspecting the pipe body.
1.2.3 Treatment agent
Attention:
Dispense slurry with treating agent according to supervisor’s instruction.
The treatment agent should be placed in a standardized and neat manner.
Place the first agent used near the feed opening.
1.2.4 Other materials
1) Conduit tool: special lifting rope for conduit, 2 large lifting clips and 4 75 ton large clamping rings.
2) Wellhead device: casing head, pressure test plug, anti-wear sleeve and feeding tool.
3) Cementing tools: inner tube insertion head, elastic centralizer in casing.
Note:
Before hoisting spud materials, carefully check the operating condition of the crane to ensure that the lifting system and brake system are safe.
Check the lifting rigging, do not use the rope that does not meet the requirements.
Do not lift large items until the weight is unknown.
The boatswoon with a whistle command, command clear gestures, if necessary by walkie-talkie contact with the crane driver.
The crane driver can refuse to lift the crane until it is clear if the command gesture is unclear and the weight of the cargo is in doubt.
The boatswain shall keep a detailed record of all cargo hoisted onto the platform.
1.3 Equipment test run
1.3.1 Dynamic load operation of mud pump
1.3.2 Solid control equipment test run
1.3.3 Test run of rig turntable
1.3.4 Top drive test run
1.4 Combined drilling tools
1.4.1 Cleaning, checking and measuring drill tools
External pliers B is responsible for cleaning, checking the drill body, male and female fasteners and shoulder surface. Report any problem to drilling foreman.
Inner pliers to assist the drilling foreman to measure the drill tool: required to map the length of the drill tool, internal and external diameter, fishing neck and other data, drill tool inspection report archived.
Uniform numbering of similar drill tools.
1.4.2 Drilling tool diameter
Diameter each drill pipe using a standard caliper gauge.
When rust or other debris is found in the drill, use a hammer to shake it off.
Use only one caliper and put it on the fixed place of the drill floor when not in use. One caliper of various specifications shall be prepared and placed uniformly.
1.4.3 Connecting the drill pipe
Pull the drill collar, put the drill collar caliper into the drill collar before pulling the wire, tighten the wire pulling, and hammer tightly. The wire rope of the drill floor air winch is connected to the wire pulling through the appropriate clasp. Remove the caliper before the drill collar is placed in the mouse hole.
pull the drill pipe, pull the drill pipe up the drill floor with 3 “steel wire rope sleeve, take out the drill pipe diameter gauge before placing the mouse hole, pay attention to tighten the male and female guard, remove the female guard on the ramp, and check the shoulder surface and welding area again.
Unfasten the hanger. Do not touch the shoulder of the drilling tool when lowering the hanger. Ensure that the hanger is fully fastened before lifting the drilling tool. When the drill tool is installed on the slip, remove the elevator after the lifting ring completely releases the tension. Do not try to open the elevator in advance during the process of lowering the drill tool.
Lift and release the slip of the drill tool. When placing the slip, the speed of lowering the drill tool should be slow, and the action of placing the slip should be fast and sharp. When there is dirt on the slip tooth plate, it should be cleaned up in time.
1.4.4 Connecting the Drill Bit
Prepare the appropriate bit shackles;
Before installing the bit, record the bit manufacturer, model and series number, check the bit flow path, install the bit water hole (pay attention to check whether the sealing ring is intact), measure the bit outer diameter, check the appearance of the cone and the movement of the bearing, and draw the distribution of PDC teeth and water hole of the PDC bit. This work is in the charge of the drilling foreman.
Place inclinometer bearing ring as required before connecting drill bit.
Attention:
Tighten the bit according to the torque on the bit.
When using PDC or diamond bit, pay attention to protect the bit teeth.
Do not use turntable fasteners.
After connecting the bit, drill down the mud surface, test by suspension, and prepare to drill. (2025-01-14)
